HARPERS Regulatory framework and criteria report is online!
The final report of Work Package 6 (WP6) of the HARPERS project is now available.
This report examines regulatory alignment across the EU in the fields of radioactive waste management and decommissioning. Drawing on insights from other work packages (WP3 - cross-border services and facilities, WP4 - circular economy, and WP5 - advanced technologies) and consultations with experts and stakeholders, it identifies common challenges and proposes six cross-cutting priority actions to improve the effectiveness and consistency of regulatory practices across the EU, while supporting safe, efficient, and sustainable decommissioning and waste management strategies.
